This week, we are consolidating all we have learnt in Mathematics and Phonics this half term. This also gives the children a chance to revisit areas that they may have gaps. We are going to be thinking about new life and Spring, with a link to Easter. We are going to be looking at materials and textures with a link to the ‘That’s not my…’ books.

Home Learning – 15th March 2021

This week, in Mathematics, we are going to look at number bonds to 10. In Phonics, we will be revising the sounds from phase 3 that we are a little wobbly on. These sounds are ch, th, ng, ai and igh. We are going to read the story ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ and think about healthy eating. We are even going to be making smoothies in food technology….yum.

I will update the blog weekly with some fun activities to do at home. Please access these if your child is in isolation, or feeling healthy but in quarantine. If your child is off school, but healthy and happy, then I will send daily work on Tapestry for them to complete. The activities below can be started on the first day of absence to allow me chance to record videos and set up activities to do at home for the following days. When your child completes an activity, please send me a photo on Tapestry.
