Below you will find 3 key bits of information; the information page with all the details you need, the activity card with instructions and rules for the specified activity and finally a video tutorial from different teachers each day showing you how to complete the activity! For the younger children, please feel free to adapt the rules to ensure enjoyment is high.

Start of the day –
What is the month of the year? Sing our month of the year song. Do jazz hands for this month.
What day was it yesterday? What day of the week is it today? What day will it be tomorrow? Sing our days of the week song. Do jazz hands for today.
What is the weather today?
It was the 21st yesterday. I wonder if you know what the date it is today. How do you know?
Maths –
Youtube video – count and move song– count to 20 and march. Use a number line to help if you need to.

Pretend to be a rocket and count down from 10. Challenge – Can you count backwards from 20?
What other ways can we say take away? Subsidise? Minus? Find less? Less than? Subtract?
Get your number line from your pack. Count backwards from 10 whilst pointing to each number on the line.
Pick a number on the number line. What is one less? Two less? Three less? Can you pretend your finger is a frog and jump down the line when you are taking away? Each jump is less than 1. If you count the jumps then you will see how many you have taken away.
